Khwaab (The Dream) by bananainpyjamas, Slumdog Millionaire.
A love story that unwinds effortlessly through a non-linear narrative and fantastic parallels, underpinned by beautiful light and motion and musicality. It's beyond gorgeous. Go. Watch.

The Negative Sex by 0mindthegap0, multi, meta.
I'm not a fan of feminist statements to the extent they categorically demonise men. As far as I'm concerned, nothing should ever be categorically anything; issues of power and dominance should be viewed through a gender lens, but it's worth remembering that's only one lens available from a vast trove of other ( Read more... )

I Want to Be Evil by halcyon_shift, multi, females.This vid is like a theme vid for life. My favourite thing? Indiscriminate lust and violence toward men, toward women, toward glass windows and shower walls. It's very equal-opportunity, and one can't say that about too many things lately.

A raw kick in the gut from one of my favourite up-and-coming vidders. It's driven by emotional content and visual associations and some truly lovely parallels (holler back bradcpu because I think this is smack bang in your path), not to mention some fantastic water symbolism.
